i've given up

i've decided not to drop pullies on my ss/sc, i plan to have my supra by next june.

BUT

i want a little bit more power while i still have it, is a tune worth it? right now with the weight reduction im running side by side with cars that trap at 102-103. is a tune worth it?

If you dont mind getting used parts... you can get injectors for about 100.. and a pulley / hub kit for about 50-75... spend 125-150 on a tune and your at 300-325...

Really, thats the best bet... Changing the downpipe would benefit too if you havent already...

No need to change exhaust at all...

well i have problems with my exhaust, my current setup up is vortex header, 2.5 downpipe, and a baffled exhaust (1 inch exit) with cat. if i deleted the cat, increased all piping to 2.5 and the downpipe to 3 inch. sold my exhaust and buy a straight through 2.5 inch cat back what kind of gains would i see over the setup i have now?

You would see very minimal gains... not as much as you'd expect... what your doing is opening up the exhaust for more power later on...

I didnt pay 300 dollars for a tune.. lol...

so 100$ for 10 whp, thats not so bad, my rev limiter would be increased to 7000 also? or is that dangerous on stock pulleys

42 pulley tune looks good right now. helld runs through the 1/4 at 104, lost by a car to 120 to him as my car is now, so that should equate to 106-107 mph, now i want to know about the car, whether i can get it to run that or not is a different story.

from what i can tell these mods would add up to 250$ which is great

and will my current exhaust setup effect a dropped pulley setup? rememer, stock piping2.5 dp and baffled exhaust
