$380 for a 2.8", injectors, a tensioner pulley, and a tune. Thats your best bet

im aware of that kit, the problem is that it requires a heat exchangr and or meth injection, which brings it well over my desired budget

what are the risks of running that set up without cooling mods, + advantages over a 3.0 and 42's, i jsut want a nice boost with low maintenance and good reliability for around 300

if you just compensate for it in the tune, then nothing, but you'll make less power. They'll have to pull timing a bit in the tune to adjust for the hotter IAT2's

then wouldnt a 3.0 or 2.9 amke more power with a more aggressive tune? than a 2.8 on a conservative tune?

and if io pulley down, im asuming that the 1 inch exiut baffle at the tip of my exhaust will be a huge restriction? or is it far enough down that it wont be?

see if you can get the ottp stage 1 with a 3.0" instead of the 2.8 then. Im sure they wont have a problem.

and you mean you have a section of 1" diameter piping in your exhaust? thats too restrictive for even a stock 2.2....

post up a pic. Why is there such a narrow section in the first place?
