I think that the header was hitting the firewall or was way too close to hitting it.

Too bad though; it was a nice looking header. Pretty pricey, but it looked like a lot of work to design and make.

Cutting out holes in the obstructions and rewelding metal back into the holes or hammering out spaces in the firewall, "not recommended".

we have already sold maybe 3 or 4 of their headers, and only one cameback with a fitting issue. that was one from the first batch that was produced. since then, the trouble were corrected, and now it fits fine.

if you would like to purchase thie item, let me know! we can build you a full quote in no time.

WASTE. Get the ZZP Mid length 1 3/4th header. Why would you even consider any of JBP's things?

JBP overcharges on everything, and I have seen no one on this board who has bought one and had it fit. I say dont waste your time and money

what a load of bs and misinformation... The firewall never had to be rewelded nor metal cut anywhere. The current design fits perfectly without any mods...

Where the hell is the neg rep when I want to use it.
I bet you have never used a JBP product and you are talking out of your ass based on heresay. A fourth red bar would look really good on you about now.

Talking

Damian tell me why its not a good product. I mean the HP figures from thier website do look pretty good. the Vender says its a good product and obviously Victory ss is using thier mods on his car so thats three people that say its good. SO can you tell me at least 5 good reasons as to why its not a good product?

JBP is the shop that is building my engine and designing my turbo setup. I have no hesitation buying their products or getting them to do the work.
Have they had problems with some stuff? Yes but name me a shop who hasn't.
The problem is someone complains on line and 1,000 other people take it as gospel. Remember the large part of this forum are young people and many times you only hear the part of the story that shows the complainer in the best light.

That header was designed off my engine sitting on their engine stand. It has been running in a GTA members Cobalt, without issue for over a year.
Is the header a PITA to put in, YES.
