really?? crap, I just bought a 3in off of japeater, if it doesn't work good with your mods, it defiantly won't work with mine.

The 3 inch isn't killing your performance. With the mods you have you can get more out of it. What afr are you running, how much timing, any supercharger/torque restrictions, etc?

I've seen more horsepower out of a 2.8 car with stock exhaust.

3" is to large until you break 300 whp mark.

i think it is like 26 or more degrees of timing and air fuel is about 11.6

its not the exhaust, its the tune. i made 23whp and 12wtrq more than that with your mods(different brands) minus the dual pass and on a 2.8

iirc 07MetallicSC is tuned by them on a 2.8 and he put down like 230s

it was rain slightly wail we were tuning, so it was very humid. i don't know how much of a difference it would make but the car runs a lot smother and pulls harder then it did with the trifecta tune. also it was dynoed in 3rd gear so we could keep the car cooler to tune it

yeah you won't really see any difference dynoing in 4th vs 3rd. people just choose the lower cause the wheel speed is way too high in 4th at the end of the run. i'd look around at getting a custom tune from someone using hpt that knows what they're doin

You sold your Magnaflow and got the three inch......I still believe the old rule of thumb......an inch for every 100 horse power.

then prove me wrong and go dyno on a day it hasn't rained. low humidity. and see what you do. cause honestly you should be in the upper 260s if not 270s. and torque should be around 250

i doubt that the 3 inch is hurting you, since when does back-pressure matter on a blower car?
