It's all in the tune and some people feel zzp tunes are lacking in that department. If you had a custom tune, you WOULD feel a BIG difference.

What stage 2 is it? I heard if you go lower than a 2.8 on a gm stage tune you won't see anymore gains

a local guy or shop that has HPTuners, or use trifecta tuning

My personal 2 cents is that almost anyone with hptuners should be able to do a better job then trifecta, but he does great work for the 2.2s and for people who can't find a local tuner. Someone sitting there next to you, is always better then email tuning and is quicker/easier. This isn't anything against vince, just my personal opinion thats all.

Just so ya know op, you no longer are gms2, you are custom. 2.7 pulley isn't gm's, the 60lbers aren't gm, and the pcm isn't gm, so how would you be gm at all anymore lol?

Either way a custom tune will wake your car up a lot!

Oh ya, just to be sure, you are running 91/93 octane gas right? If not, you will lose A LOT of power.

This.

20lbs of boost on a 2.7" pulley sounds like you are running the stock exhaust system, or something close to it.

I'm not saying its the cause of you feeling only a small performance gain from the 2.7", but check to see if your cat is clogged.

When you are seeing this 20lbs of boost what were the outside temps, elevation, etc.?

Ok, well that explains the 20lbs of boost on a 2.7".

Like others have said I would look into the tune itself.

hey staged long time no see. lmao. i say the same thing bro, with a 2.7 with full exaust even without a header and no cat you'd be seeing like around 15-18lbs depending on temps and other mods. on my 2.6 i was seeing 17-19 depending on iats and iat2s and other influences so get rid of the cat, if you need a cat retune for a little leaner, zzp tunes run rich, Find you a hptuner in your area and logg the **** out of it. Be safe and ask around about the tuners work. Its always good to know your tune will be safe. And when temps change make sure to go to your tuner and ask to have your tune revised (Retuned).....

If i was up there id tune you for a decent price, one thing you can do is find someone with hptuners, give them a few $ have them log your car and send it to zzp and have them look at it and revise the tune then and they can send it back to the tuner, and he can put the tune to your car. But you would need to purchase credits from the local tuner.

The stock catback narrow's to 2 and 1/16th'' at the resonator inlet ..... sounds like it's time for a catback. Either that or the cat is clogged . Have you checked that the intercooler pump is working?

I thought this at first to man, but he ran his tests when it was pretty cold out (30-40*F). I'm thinking he needs to fiddle with the tune. An aftermarket catback will def. help add some flow though.

Dont forget you should get a dual pass if you dont plan on meth with that pulley, to me a H/E s3 isnt just enuf. Even tho you have the Intake and header to help get air out your still trying to force a serious amount of air threw a straw of a exhaust. I would go catless 2.5 pipe and pick your muffler for tone. If you want it quiet try the dynomax super turbo its what I have, I flows great and all you here is blower whine. Im at sea level and Ive yet to pin the gauge on a 2.7 setup. Also as everyone has stated please try and find a custom tuner in your area for running rich with little timing is how zzp keeps kids from blowing up cars. If you have a wideband note the afr ratio and send the pcm back saying where its at and ask for 2* more. rinse and repeat till it feels good and all you should pay is the few dollers to ship.what I had to do at first.

I honestly don't think it has anything to do with the cat bc its brand new. And the reason I didn't do a catback is bc its my DD and I don't want it to sound ricey or be loud
