just installed K&N typhoon

I just installed the intake on an ss/sc that has about 350 miles on it there is no cel on but the idle is jumping a little at idle I figure the pcm is doing its thing with recalibrating for the air differance anyone have any input?

Did you reset your battery? (Pulling the negative terminal off for about 5 minutes)

Think you need it disconnected for a day or two according to K&N

No but after about 70 miles with cai on now I have CEL and I scanned it turned up p0171 lean fuel on bank 1. I have done a search and found out this is common...I called k&n tech he said Unhook battery also so I did and it came back on after 20 or so miles. this car is going to be a pain in the **** to mod I can see this Now. Oh well I will just keep shutting the light off till a fix comes cause I love the power increase. And the motor is not running lean just real strict values on the pcm. When I had my srt-4 if you did not have stage 1 the CEL would come on if you put on a down pipe but stage 1 would not read that 02 sensor.. with that said maybe the GM stages will be more mod friendly. I installed a K&N typhoon on my cobalt ss. My CEL has gone completely off. But it took roughly 2-3 months. Maybe the light just burnt out
