I just ordered the GMPP stage 2. what kind of prices are you guys having to pay to have it installed? And also I have heard of some people have reflash problems..what could i ask the dealer to do to make my install go smoothly?

 

My dealer said the kid who installed the first one took about 4 hours which equates out to be around 400$. i heard it was easy just time consuming so im gonna try doing it myself.. if i can kind my camera i can take pictures.

 

I just put mine in yesterday THey tried charging me for 6 hours which is complete crap. I told them it should be around 3 and I'm not willing to pay for anymore labor than that. I pick it up today and will let you know what the outcome is.

Ok, they charged me 4 hours worth of a labor. It was a bit pricey but way better than the 6 they quoted me and tried charging me.

 

First off, make sure the dealer has done the installs before. Suprisingly, lots of dealers haven't done them. If the dealer has no experience doing a stage 2 install, you're likely to pay for more than 2 hours of labor because it will take a long time. I paid around $200 to have mine installed.

 

yeah, mine was $216, exactly what I was quoted. I had to leave my car from sat to monday, because the techline is closed on saturdays
