Just received an HID kit but im stumped big time.

Ok I'm not oblivious to the search button and the How to: sections. I did this already and the Hid How to: HID made by Mkulrey none of them look like mine @ all. I have the bulb and 2 black 2 red wires 1 set coming from the bulb itself and the 2nd set doesn't even have a plastic connector on them just bare leads for both sets of bulbs. So confused on this right now. If pictures are needed just ask =D

well when you plug the ballast to the relay harness, it should work.

if you have a relay you do not need the spade connectors or the plug thing on the bulbs

Ok so I plug the relay harness(longest wire for passenger side) and the other connector to the ballasts then mount my ballasts make sure everything is ran in a clean and neat style and then ground it and plug to the fuse box? Will I have to do some form of drilling like I have heard. I have the ZZP projector headlights

everything looks good now the spade connectors coming off the relay go into the driver side stock harness and the red goes to the battery and then the black goes to the ground

Wouldn't the spade connectors (black) go to the fender bolt and the red one goes on the battery terminal post? I guess where I am confused is that my HID stuff looks like I got the H11 kit with a relay harness.....thats my only issues Idk what I even got because there is no packing list or anything to indicated what it is.

I understand the harness and everything now but my question is about the extra wires by the bulb if you look @ the first image I posted. I just don't understand what those are there for and what to do with them.

what bulb did you buy? the connectors look just like my h1 kit i just installed and this is how i hooked mine up
1. the red wire with no conector just a spade went to the power wire that supplies the bulb. pluging this into the wire supllies the ballast with power.
2. the black wire with no conector just a spade went to the ground wire in the harness so the ballast has a ground. ill try to do a paint pic to further explain but i really really really need to know what bulb your working with because the connectors you have look to be the h1 style conector used with projectors.

yes they do they slip into the stock harness. the open wires fit perfectly into only one power source. you have to make sure you match the + and - up right but they just dont have an adaptor. its the same way when your doin hid swap on the fog lights. it will only work one way dont over think it and look at all you connectors to see if they will go in somewher. im not familiar with zzp but they look just like they would if you were swappin fogs out. the loose open spades should just slip into a stock harness or a harness on your zzp's. just goin by my knowledge of just installing my hids that look like that if im wrong im sorry for the confusion but they should just slip into a harness
