K&N drop in filter for 2.0??

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MakeTrack=true

anyone know if these are in stock at any parts stores?

ran into this auction. Just wanted to know, is k&n known for performance gains by their drop ins...how would a simple drop in filter compare to a normail CAI setup?? if the hp numbers are almost identical ill be using this filter instead of risking my crap ass dealer giving me more reasons not to work on my car.

I think ppl are seeing between 5 - 7 hp from a drop in. Gain can be over ~15hp w/ a cai... Though I think thats partly luck of the draw.

Ok, but is this drop in legit? I went to about 3 autozone stores and pepboys no one has it in their system yet. My friend has the 2.4L his CAI only gave him about a 6hp gain, and I know on my s10 xtreme I use to have, the CAI barely gave me 5hp.

The K&N E-0777 is what K&N calls there direct fit model. The previous K&N everyone had been using was to big and needed to be modified to work.
