K and N intake
K and N intake
I bought a K and N CAI from another member for my SS yesterday and am awaiting its arrival.
I remember hearing somewhere that dryflow filters are better than oiled filters, so should I order an AEM filter, or should I go ahead and use the K and N filter?

I think the only thing to be careful is if u decide to clean a k&n, don't over oil it!. a brand new filter from k&n works fine. I've had no problems with my k&n. But i wouldn't bother cleaning it. I d just get a new one. If u do decide to get a different filter, make sure u replace it with the right diameter. and make sure it's on nice and snug. don't want it to fall off right!?!
Yeah, and from what I read you dont have to recharge them for 30,000 miles, so i guess i'll just leave the k and n filter on and buy a new one later down the road

I love my K&N! Past 3 cars have had em! I did notice that the rubber elbow however was pretty darn hard to fit on the pipe but then again I'm driving an SS/NA. You can actually hear the air being sucked in to the engine at certain rpm's sounds like I'm boosted
