Hey ok i made this post for all of you that want an intake.

Last weak K&N had my car and 2 other SS's at their shop in Riverside, CA. They prototyped a CAI. I think it was of their Typhoon line up (not sure), it will be available for the SS and later on the base models.

The Intake offers an increase of 8 hp throughout the RPM Range so its not going to be a few horses here and there, and 8 at peak power, but all around. The intake will not be limited to 8 hp though they are still working on it and will try to boost it up a few more horses. the price will be around $200 - $300 so its not to bad.

It will come in polished aluminum for now, they said giving other color option wil be pointless b/c most people dont car for the choices.

Although i dont have a dyno result for the SS w/ the intake i do have one for my car w/o the intake so you can imagine how much power it will get.



Now it says peak HP is 228 but it look like its a spike that occurs when the car reaches redline, so i go with the 223 max hp, till i can get another dyno done for it.

So did they give you an intake? Can you get some pictures or video? Now it is only a matter of time before they are done.

They didnt give me an Intak, thay are going to send me one as soon as they are happy withthe product, wich is soon onceit comes in illg et pics up, they didnt let take pics and a sound clip of it

uhm maybe late July if were lucky , i get it as soon as it comes out so i have to wait also
