lol i know i havnt raced my balt yet, but i got in a passing lane earlier today and a mustang gt was in front of me in it and took off to pass everyone and i kept up right on his bumper. i know he wasnt all the way to the floor but i know he hit the pedal pretty hard. idk i found it a bit funny hopefully i can really crush some after i do a few things its such a smack in the face to mustang owners to get beat by a 4 cylinder lol idk something about owning a mustang makes a person cocky.

Exactly and you can take down gt's right now dude. I have cai and beat a 03 gt with xpipes and intake and few other mods and got him by more than a car. Ive taken down multiple gt's with my balt most of them just get an exhaust system and think there untouchable hahaha not so true, and check out ott performance b4 you consider zzp, i think they rival some of zzps parts

well zzp has the header/downpipe combo and its like 400. ive heard really good things about this and the ottp header is 800 and the downpipe is another 200. the price is 3x more and im not sure if ottp is worth it right here compared to the zzp

Yes as far as exhaust i want the same midlength header dp combo to a 2.5in catback but i want to delete the cat and run a resonator, sounds awesome more like an sti than a balt

Oh and get a custom tune dnt get the zzp or the ottp tune, there not bad but custom is best to go along with your other mods

yeah i dont want that really loud high pitch tuner noise but it wouldnt be right if it were a deep tone on this car. i kinda like how its stock. its not too tuney and i can still hear it over my music. ive watched youtube videos of different exhaust set ups and i think the borla is the least tuney sounding cat back

hmmm i dont whereabouts to get a custom tune though. what if i got ottp when they installed the stage 2 to give me not the regular tune but a custom tune? or does it not work like that lol?

No just post a thread listing your mods and asking someone for a custom tune, there are plenty of guys on the forums that tune these for fun and also places that will give a custom tune so just ask around best thing to do. As far as exhaust thats what i want, i want mine to sound meaner than any srt4 on the road. But go with a magnaflow high flow cat on your system and that should muffle the sound a bit, i just want the snap crackle and pop as my engine wines down or i down shift, kinda like the lnf's

What about the 06? Does it contact the brake lines on the 06??

As for the K&N. I had to take mine off. It was contacing the brake lines AND my PCM. Damaged my brake lines. I noticed areduction in perforamnce after it was removed
as well.

BEFORE I spend money to buy the ZZP Intake, (ive been looking into it as well) Id like to know if it contacts anything in the 06LSJ?

It does look like its designed to be more, flexable for instalation though....
Does Injen have any interferance issues? on the 06?

I know it doesnt on the 05, i helped install the 3inch zzp on an 05 with out trouble, i just didnt like how it was several peices and not all one peice, it made install harder. And more places for stuff to come loose if u dnt clamp down tight, but he hasnt had any trouble with his intake its not as loud as my injen intake.
