k&n and psi?

k&n and psi?
is it possible to have a lower psi boost with a k&n drop in filter in the stock box with the lid on
i could have sworn i was closer to 90kpa (high 12's)
now i am a tad over 80kpa (high 11 psi)
or am i crazy LOL

Probably crazy 
, unless the drop-in is actually restricting airflow into the engine. And if that is the case i would remove it. I saw a slight boost increase when i installed my injen, from the increased airflow.
