did you put a diesel engine in your car?

that must be wrong. for a small gasoline engine, the TQ is never higher than the HP like that.

ok I just looked at your mods, I'm about 99% sure that dyno was off or something was done wrong. Go get your money back.

326 ft/lbs? What kind of dyno? Sounds like they didn't enter the proper numbers.

damn you're quick, I just edited my post. Anyways, if you had to pay for it, I would go back and get your money back or have them redo it.

put up the sheet. Dyno operator doesn't have a clue, it was probably a mustang dyno correct? Mustang dynos have to be calibrated properly to show anywhere near the right numbers. what shop did you go to? do NOT get tuned there.

that's not true, but in this situation yes.

That's what I was thinking. Changing the weight of drum, weight of car, circumference of drum, etc. can make huge changes in your numbers.

i don't know what to think, 206hp seems low and 326lbs of torque is way to high.

Do you happen to know what the operator typed in as your horsepower @ 50mph? We had a VR6 jetta come in our shop the other day. Some guy put in 50HP @ 50mph and the car got 168HP which is about right but got 268 torque. The engine only produces 198 lb/ft of torque at the crank! They should have put it at around 8-10HP @ 50mph. Does your dyno sheet have everything listed?

Well I'm not sure but something was put in wrong either something with your car or the dyno itself. Show the shop some other dyno graphs with similar mods and how no cobalt is making that much torque with those kinds of mods, hell I haven't seen ANY cobalt with that much torque. Not saying there isn't but I think you get the point lol. Get your money back.

No supercharged cobalts making that much torque anyway. There are a couple of turboed ones that do though IIRC.

Got 211 on a Dynojet stock
That's because mustang dynos calculate actual real world horsepower. They factor in the vehicle's weight and other things to calculate their numbers by putting a load or the cars wheels to simulate real driving conditions. Dynojets do not and are a bit inflated because the only resistance you have to overcome is the weight of the drum. On a dynojet all cars are automatically put in as 2000lbs. This is why you can do things like 0-60 and 1/4 mile runs on a mustang dyno. For tuning their much better but more bragging rights go dynojet.
