Kinda Pissed.... oh well
Well I have had my car now for 10 months and I just started adding some performance parts. I sent the car into the dealership yesterday to have a stage 2 put in and when I went back to pick it up me and the head technician got to talking and he was wondering why I just didnt go stage 3. I then explained that I am trying to stay under warranty so stage 2 is the way to go and he immediately came back with "Dont worry about that man, just let me know what you want to do with your car and ill hook you up". I was like ****, I could have saved some money and gotten a lot more bang for my buck under warranty!!
Oh well, my injen cai came in today and I went ahead and installed it. I love the sound!!
I am also getting a GMPP exhaust in about a week
Rep for power

and its shuts down your AC...
stage 3 isnt worth it, he was trying to make you buy 1000 worth of something you dont really need..
That grand will you get plenty of better things.

its like a handheld standalone that costs fraction of the price of a real standalone..its a mix of cobb/sct for mustangs
yes if u buy the whole kit and know how to tune on a laptop.alot of people just buy the tuner it self for 499 and most shops that work on srt's have the program and they dyno tune ur car and save the map on the sct tuner that u bought(like accessport on subbies).can save up to 3 maps.race gas, regular gas,and stock mode

stage three is alright if you dont have to worry about money... theres a fix for a/c it allows you to run nos safley with window switch and all, and it has adjustable rev limiter...
all these things can be accomplished by hpt but ALOT of people dont know how to use and and are scared of it...

the ecu has a algorithm for nos (you need tuning for a dry shot normally, this is a tune on the fly type of thing)
the ecu is locked though, and thats not good if you wanna go bigger in the long run... and id say stage 3 ecu if you want to keep warrenty...
