i was drivin my car yesturday and i got on it in 2nd and at about 45 i lost all power (not electrical but hp) it was only for like a sec then i took off again.. it was almost like it was red lineing but i was know where near it.... and prolly a dumb question i know by chance could someone tell me where the h/e pump is, i think mine is out...

I was driving yesterday and an Identical thing happened to me, I went to shift into 2nd at 3500rpm or so and it lost all power for only a second and a big dirty puff of black smoke came out of the tail pipe of my car (as people watching told me). First time its done that to me but it has seemed to be running a little ruff so I was guessing a bad plug and it misfired or something, so I bought new plugs today and going to put them in tomorrow. Aside from the MAF sensor is there any other problems it could be?

Sticky bypass actuator.
Remove it... clean the corrosion off the actuator arm... lube it up... put it back on.
When you re-install it... make sure it's not binding.... it must move fluidly from open to closed.

sry ive been at work but its still doin it.. i replaced the plugs i took out 6e's and put it 7e's( whats the difference??) the old ones had so much carbon deposit it was nasty!!! but ya know i keep blowin my exhaust fuse.. my o2 sensor isnt grounded out and i was told it might have somthin to do with a clutch sensor or somethin but im not sher...ill clean my maf sensor tomorrow but i just replaced it like 2 weeks ago and when i did that i put in an injen... so i dont think its dirty..but u never know.. ill also try the actuator arm to.. ill let u know what happens.. but thanks for the help so far.. ill keep u guys posted
i do that too.. its looks like when ur driven a non-turbo deisel and when u whomp on it and black some comes out cause its burnin oil.. but i think im doin it cause my air to fuel ratio is off.. im gonna get a wideband next pay to see whats goin on!!

bump........ still havent had a chance to tear into the car but any advice would be great.. ide rather try a hundred diff. things at once then sit around and trouble shoot.... thanks
