Haha thats good to hear man! Use the hoseclamps?

I gotta say i had a hell if a time reinstalling mine with the zzp orings, basically, lubed them up with coolant then had to force em in by tightening down the endplate. Lets hope for no leaks this season! :X

I was using hose clamps the whole time. That's how I broke the first ones, hose clamp kept slipping so I kept tightening and crushed them.

Why you gotta tell me that the zzp are a bitch to put in?!?! I ever expected a dual pass install to give me so much grief

I just started to add up the cost of my parts pile. I stopped pretty fast. Haha and that isn't even close to all the stuff I have altogether spread between the garages. Then I started thinking about all the stuff I still need... ugh

I'm in too deep. I need that 400whp tvs car lol. Debating if running a 2.6 with the ATI is a good idea lol.

What are the Gen 2 blocks good for? 450ish. Lnfs are Gen 2, right?

Yes an LNF is Gen 2. You can't really put a solid cap on a block and say it is good for xxx hp. There's so many variables that play into it. A friend of mine has a 480whp SS/TC, stock motor. Has beat the **** out of it for years and it still keeps ticking.

I'm just hoping I'm making a sound choice keeping the stock block for the 380-450 whp range on blower. My crank is only good to 500ish, so I feel like if I were to upgrade to a girdled or sleeved block, the crank becomes an issue at about the same power level.
