I can't see much return off this, but it won't hurt.

I know. Only comparing to something that may have similarities in weight/speed and thinking gains would be in higher rpms.

Correct, but replacing the stock shafts with neutral balance shafts will free up about 10hp or so.

So there is a power gain & performance gain to be had.

As for the light weight blower rotors....

I'm not too keen on them not applying an abratable coating. The coating provides tighter tolerances and helps with efficiency.

The abratable coating was one of the advancements Eaton made to their blowers as they went through different generation changes.

Did they say they strip off the coating? The rotors shown could just be 4th gens, they only have 3 pics and no additional info

It doesn't say....

I would hope they would leave the abratable coating on the 5th & 6th gen blower rotors.

This is prob one of the best setups I could see happening for the m62.. releiveing rotational mass by quite a bit making it easier for revvs and free up some cooler air... There is a lot of potential .. but It does need the coating for reliability of less heat soak and ect.

I am hoping $300 not a penny more if they are asking too much then it's pointless cause you can get new Supercharger for $500-$700.

How? Neutrals are heavier than the stock ones. They're really just there for people who arent man enough to do the delete.

I hope they end up putting the coating though, if they dont you'd likely see a loss of boost with them compared to stock. Especially for anyone running over 15psi.

My neighbor has that same mustang. His isn't the super snake though he has a regular Shelby gt500. The supercharger is still pretty loud and it's only like 8lbs. I've been telling him for a couple years now to get a smaller pulley and tune but he likes it stock.

Read the LSJ build book.

What I have stated has been told to me by a GM Engineer as well.

and no in most cases neutrals are lighter than the stock shafts.

The GMPP ones were heavier, because they were literally a stock balance shaft, except a full round. I didnt realize that zzp actually made them the smarter way.

I was speaking of the ZZP lightweight neutrals fwiw. I didn't think anyone used the GM shafts since they are heavier than stock.

$300 seems reasonable for the lighter rotors, but its not like they are just drilling holes in them and calling it good. Seems like a fair amount of time would be tied up in this job... Test, disassemble, machine, balance, assemble, test, possibly parts, oil and shipping. I see it being over $400.
