Little help please

Ok well I got the Heat exchanger, and opt. b. installed but I cannot figure y it is not filling up any ideas? I ran the lines for the heat exchanger based off of zzp's diagram, and opt. b. i went off of others as well as a little crateenginedepot... but when at high temps its not sucking down the coolant...? and I put the little black bleeder (thing) Lol inside the line because I could not get a for sure answer on how to run that and im not gonna just put it in heat exchanger lmao, and it does not fit down the brass fitting, so I stuck it down the line and then the brass fitting installed at the end. But yeah the coolant which is gm orange or dexcool, will not suck down threw the system... so heat exchanger is not being filled.. any thoughts.?

Bump for more info please.. Ok I am looking at the skematics on crateenginedepot.com, http://www.crateenginedepot.com/store/pdfs/sidekit.pdf and mine is ran the exact same way except I took the orifice out of the 1/4" hose to see if that was the issue of the coolant not running down out of the surge tank to fill up the new h/e, thought maybe pressure might have something to do with it.. but it still does not want to suck the coolant down, and I am not sure why, I know if it was a snake it woulda bit me for probably over looking something but I cant figure out what lol...... just need a little 2 cents please.

ive used half a gallon, enough for some to go down into the lines, and fill the resivoir not alot of coolant should I say lol.. also that skematic is actually different then my setup as I looked closer, it is with duel pass endplate.., where is a skematics with a regular endplate..? lol I am so confused.. trying to figure if the bottom hose (out) is the one that runs to the pump for recirculation which I would assume so...

Edit: * Ok from what I am reading a duelpass endplate is infact required for this opt. b setup if that is the case... then this is my problem because I do not have one.. I tryed making phone calls but failed at that... so what do you guys think..?

Did you fill it from stock before adding the option b. If not disconnect the the hose from the stock heat exchanger the one that you hooked air restrictor fitting to. and then fill the heat exchanger from the stock fill point until you see fluid seeping from the stock bleeder area then reconnect and run.

It should take a little over a gallon dependent on what heat exchanger you have.

humm I will check that but I did take that hose off at one point and both resovoirs stayed at constant lvl, when I start the car tho the aftermarket resovoir fills up but then stops acting as if its going to overfill but dont...

yeah do what I said In my early post disconnect the overflow line from the stock heat exhchangers bleeding poin the nut on the top, then fill from the stock resivoir the one connected to the supercharger, fill it until you have fluid coming out of the stock bleeder port. The new heat exchanger sits lower than the stock bleeder point so if there is fluid coming out of that bleeder area then both are full then replace the line that you removed and then run the car and the option be will bleed air from the system.. If you are still having issues just give a hollar at the number I sent to in the PM and we can trouble shoot it from there.
