You need a special J tool to take the pulley off. You may want to have the dealer install it for you. I was quoted $180.

Your not going to get around having to go to the dealer if thats info your wanting to know, they have to use the code on the instruction pamphlet to reflash the tune onto your PCM.

Keep searching theres is a few threads with good info out there.

Def let the dealer do it....you'll lose your warranty if you do it.

I dunno if id install the injectors and the pulley and drive it to the dealership or anything. I think you can just do it by pulling the computer out and bringing it there? maybe not but just a guess. Also look into it but im not sure what year but I know that you can also use a cadillac air conditioner pulley puller to get the sc pulley off

Mine had a 3-week, 2,000 mile warranty. Because I ordered Intense Stage 3 the day I bought the car.

Intalled it yesterday, took about an hour. the longest part was the wait at the dealership to get re-flashed ($50) so not to bad. all said and down installed was about $600.

I am wondering though, if you aren't worried about the warranty, why get stage 2? Would have been cheaper to get a pulley/hub (sized to what you want) injectors (again sized to what you want) and have a tune done? Would make more power, smoother tune alround.

Area47 is in your neck of the woods and from what I have read he tunes other cars.

Again I was just curious as most who get the stage 2 are concerned with warranty.
The main thing is you are happy with your car.
