how many of you guys use lock tight on the bolts for your MPS? whether its a gm hub or zzp, intense, pulley boys etc...i personally dont and my bf doesnt and neither of us have ever had a problem...just curious...
LOL Why would you ever do that? I have never heard of pulley bolts falling off.
The only time I would ever do that is if I didn't like someone and wanted them to never boost any more or less.
Sounds like a good way to never be able to get said pulley back off.

the bolts are on a part that spins and there are vibrations, i wouldnt trust not putting loctite on them. the key its to use blue loctite (blue is the weakest) and use just a small dab. i also dont use the gm bolts as i have a zzp mps, the allen head screws come off easily with a socket and ratchet.
Unless you have access to a blow torch, or dont mind paying someone to swap pullies for you, no loctite is the way to go. My dealer skipped it for me and it made swapping pullies on my S2 hub a breeze.
You do not and should not use loctite on the pulley bolts. The bolts thread the opposite way the motor is turning so you never have to worry about them falling out. Just torque them to about 15 pounds like you are supposed to and it is fine.
You don't loctite your wheel studs do you? LOL

you can just loosen the bolts when you use blue loctite, red is usualy the same deal. green stuff sometimes needs heat. green stuff shouldnt be used on anything under 1/2" thread.
the key to loctite is to use it sparingly. a small drop goes a long way.

dont use it on mine, i have the MPS from smoothflow(nate), i got 5 stainless allen bolts and just use them, they have a flared head so they arent going anywhere...been holding fine for a while now, just thigten them down, and you should be ok
