Well i go to a school where basically all car enthusiasts have imports. One of my real good friends owns a 2005 eclipse GTS MTX and we have raced multiple times from a dig and he gets me pretty good, but when we go from a roll i usually take him. He always is telling me chevy sucks and my car is breaking because of that tick tick tick after i turn off my car.
/Rant
Anyways i am thinking about doing the following
GM stage 2
Tsudo (sp?) 2.5 catback exhaust
Ingals TD or TTR solid mount
Will i be able to pull on that damn eclipse a lot harder?
Than maybe a month after i get those things i will be going with the zzp heard+DP combo
i know the TD and the solid mount are pretty comparable but which one is easier to install? Also do you have to jack the engine up at all?
Also anyone know why it says this exhaust wont fit the SS/SC model?

yes but it is real simple to do. The tick tick tick is your exhaust and every Cobalt I'm aware of does this. Mine did it from day one. It means nothing and your Ecipse friend wouldn't talk so much smack about chevy if you raced that eclipse stock with a stock SS S/C.

What year eclipse?
Understandable if your new to shifting.
Once you get good at driving it you'll beat him.
Get a minor tune to lower boost in first so you can launch worth a darn.
Just be careful since your new to manuals. The Balt is a harsh teacher for that.
Just be careful and please don't race until you've got your shifting perfect.
I don't want to read about another person who got hurt or worse trying to do something they were not ready for.
Be safe and have fun!

If you really want to take him I would suggest also getting a 2.9" pulley on it to kick up the boost a bit. I can make it for you for only 50.00 and it's much lighter than the steel stage 2 pulley so it will spin up a bit quicker.
