You really have no idea what your talking about.

ive been running autolites on my turbod lsj for my first oil change. Switched to ngks, then before the next oil change, switched back to my autolites. Im over 300hp+ to the wheels.

All he has is a CAI... hes fine with stock plugs.

There is no reason to go 2 steps colder on a 2.8 pulley... you know why? Our stock plugs are technically already "one step colder" than the other cobalt engines.. So a one step colder plug is really 2 steps colder for the lsj.

Dont believe me? Check hptuner logs with cylinder temps... with the 2 steps colder, some applications will actually not burn hot enough and can cause problems.

And to answer the question, go for a stage kit before your exhaust...

is this really a thread about how plugs make improvements? there is ZERO improvement. the stock plugs are fine in a stock engine until AT LEAST 50k miles. waste of money before then, just keep them gapped.

Getting too cold of a plug can cause performance issues.

I used to have an 03 SRT4 and got rid of the Mopar Copper Spark plugs after 30k. Cause my car was misfiring all the time and later it was the throttle sensor. I put in the Autolite Iridiums and really didn't see much difference. I don't really like factory spark plugs at all. So I think sticking with copper or double platinums aftermarket is the way to go with any car.

I think I made up my mind and might take the Autolite Copper Spark Plugs back. Think about purchasing the Denso IK20's because they suppose to be better than NGK's with a .04mm vs. NGK's .06tip point.
