This may sound stupid but I am going to ask anyway, I appologize if it does sound stupid. When we all get the stage 2 upgrade, will the supercharger be louder? Also at idle???? And how come we have the only SC cars that you can not hear the SC at idle? Just curious that's all.

 

I doubt that it will be much louder, if any louder with stage 2. The only thing that really makes it noticably louder is an intake.

???? I usually don't hear other S/C cars whine at idle. Which IMO is a good thing. Usually I only hear the S/C under load which is when you should hear it because that's when the most air is being sucked through it. At idle you really don't have that much air being pulled through, so the S/C isn't really doing much.

Stg. 2 will probabaly change the tone of the wine , and possibly make a bit louder 2 . Case being the smaller pulley will make the blower RPM increase . The whine from the Intense 2.8 pulley sounds completely different from the stock pulley .

Intake and blower RPM are the 2 things that will effect sound and tone of the whine .
