low boost.. no whine??

I just did a rebuild on my cobalt and now that I got it back running I'm only getting about 8lbs of boost and no whine. Not sure what's up because before it was running between 16 and 18. Any ideas? I didn't know if i may have mixed up a plug or a vacuum line on the supercharger or what. The car is running fine and everything so I'm not sure if the supercharger just got messed up while it was sitting. Any help would be great.
thanks

that vac line come from the intake manifold to the bypass solenoid is what allows the bypass solenoid to bleed off boost if the solenoid is bad it will just bleed off boost by unplugging it off os the solenoid and pluging will show if you have a bad solenoid or not

I checked the thing you told me to do at idle and when I took the vacuum line off it wasn't leaking any air out the back. Everything worked fine before I tore it apart so that's why I was thinking maybe something happened to the supercharger.

I have one but its for a four inch inlet lol. You think I should just replace all the vacuum lines? also do you think it could be the supercharger?
