low coolant light

Everytime my car sits for long periods of time when it's Freezing out i get Low Coolant light for probably 2min or so once the car warms its all good. I have fluid in my Resoivor tank, Is there supposed to be fluid in the section below the supercharger before the car is started? There wasn't anything in that part

If you take the cap off the filler neck you should be able to see coolant cycling through when the car is running.

Yea there is supposed to be fluid in there. Mine sit's about an inch up.

Like Black SS/SC said, you should be able to see it moving. I'm not sure if there is a low fluid warning attatched to the IC system though. My car got a low coolant light and I found it was a hair above the line but I added a bit more and it has not ever done it since.

No, mine was only ever empty when i was refilling it. Fill it up a tad and check if it leaks away, or just look for spots in your garage/pad etc.

called a family friend mechanic explained i might have sensor issues, IC pump might not be working, clog in cooling system. Gonna have it checked out, car sits for 20-40min temps not going above 190 but it's 15 degress outside. Also i filled up the resevior tank, and filled up filler neck 2x it has fluid in it now. it wasn't flowing superfast though. What damage could be done to my car
