Low End

I've noticed that my car doesn't have very much low end torque. I was just wondering what the best way to improve that "throw you back into the seat" feeling at lower rpm's. Once I get into the powerband, of course, its fine....but that doesnt happen until around 3k-3500 rpm...

Any suggestions?

My car throws u back when it hits 2k RPM, well used too now it has no traction in 1st or 2nd..there useless, Why do you want that feeling anyway at low RPMs.

What do you have on your car now? If you want that feeling way down low your going to be needing traction mods haha.

Buy a v8 if you want low end torque. One of the leading/top reasons people crack there blocks is excessive pressure / boost / power at low rpm's.

ss/tc have a lot of low end torque, however it spins the wheels and you cant really use it down low without an upgraded clutch.

Could be the PE Mode is not kicking in at lower RPMs

Now that i think about it, i do get a lot of wheelspin through first and second....

I know I have a CAI, not sure what brand, I bought the car used and the dealer didnt know much about the mods. Theres also an aftermarket GReddy Muffler, but I'm not sure if its a full blown exhaust kit or just a muffler. I got under it a couple times and the only other mod i could see were sportlines....havent discovered anything else yet.

I plan on replacing the CAI with the ZZP 3" and I'm still deciding what path I want to take for exhaust. Eventually I want to upgrade the blower to the TVS, but that might be a while.

Anyway, I didnt expect an I4 to have as much low end torque as a v8, but I did expect it to have a little more than it does.....could it just be a tuning issue? or do you think I need a better suspension setup?

probably just a muffler, I don't think greddy made catbacks for the ss.
