i'm looking forward to doing mine, we'll see. I think i'm going to install it on a fairly stock motor and get used to how it reacts to throttle input, and them when i get the harrop, maybe i'll have a headstart on taming the beast lol.

I remembered the day I took my LS4 tb off. It made my car enjoyable to drive again.

I really hated it but some people like them.

I will NOT put on on my TVS.

So the LS4 on a ported M62 with say, a 3" pulley...

that should be a little easier to handle than the TVS right?

And how are you guys tuning for the bigger TB? Just changing that scaler? I might be doin this in the future...

because the timing is so high right now, it would blow your mind. has nothing to do with track times...yet.

Hater.

i did that long before I even turned the car on so I have no idea what difference that would have made compared to 4500 because I started with 4950.

well if you set it to 4500 real quick and try to drive around youll be able to tell the difference. also why not try raising the scaler a little more

How did you do that? Set the Boost Limit in first to 0 at 4000?

one thing to keep in mind here, how is changing the scaler to a higher number going to affect the performance of the car? Seems the higher you set it, the easier it is to drive. But is that a negative affect on performance?

the tb scaler has zero affect on performance. all that does is control the speed of closing on the tb itself.

the m62 doesn't need a ls4 tb on it. it doesn't move enough air. the tvs however, when you start dropping pulley sizes and moving more air can benefit from it. there are some of us who are going wacky with stuff, so more air is good
