There needs to be a way to control the speed of OPENING the tb based on throttle position at low rpms or low throttle.

Ah, there is hope for the LS4 TB sitting in my trunk right now. Thank you guys for all your hard work. Now I just need OTTP to finish their CAI.

 

So what about raising the scaler even higher say 5100? Would that make things better?

windshield washer fluid not good enough?

 

I dont use that ****, I use snow performance boost juice 50/50 water methanol, no impurities. Washer fluid is 10 percent methanol, 50 percent water and 40 percent "other". I do not like putting "other" through my engine. Not to mention using washer fluid has ZERO affect on AFR and didn't seem to prevent knock very well. The snow stuff richens me by a half point, which lets me use alot less injectory duty.

 

Well, you should use more than just Windshield fluid...

Im sure you have heard of HEET?

If you find the stuff that DOES NOT have bug remover in it, then its deffinatly wayyyy less impurities.. as i think that 40 percent mark is a little high anyway.

 

Some washerfluid contains up to 49% methanol. You just need to know what you are doing and know where to look. You can get Peak -20 at Walmart which contains 33% methanal...

But if you like to pay more for the same stuff go for it.

so the stuff at the hardware store is that pure methyl alcohol, i dont want anything that has other **** in it

 

HEET is 98% methanol i believe...i use about 3 bottles of it and a gallon of distilled water...

 

saved for future use... i have a ls4 on the way. hope i can get this thing figured out.

 

Heet also has anti freeze in it as well

yep. $1.XX per bottle, plus under $1 for a gallon of distilled water. Just a couple bucks to fill the tank.

 

I can get methanol now for 5 bucks a gallon, water for practically nothing so basically instead of paying 7.50 a gallon for the snow stuff i can make it for half that

Heet is 2 bucks a bottle for only 12oz id need about 10 of them to get a gallon thats even more expensive than what im paying now

 

Your always doing something crazy and different...I hope it works out for you and one day it should all pay off. I want to see 320 whp out of that thang with meth and perfect tune!
