LSJ dipstick lenght

I need a huge favor from one of you guys can you measure the lenght of the dipstick from the base of the cap to the bottom of the bulb on the tip. thanks in advance.

no, trying to find out if there is a difference in lenght between the LSJ and L61 sticks. i have the LSJ oil pan on my ride and even with 6.5 quarts of oil in it does not register on the stick.

mine takes more than 6.5 to register to half on the stick...

I'll swap you I got a 2.2/2.4 pan

But yea it's like 6.5 quarts and then another .2-.4 quarts

okay cause before the trans failed i do recall adding at least 7qts to get it to show about halfway up the line. that sounds about right then. I was just worried i was adding to much oil and flooding the turbos oil return line installed on the oil pan.

Yeah a normal oil change is like 6.5-6.75 quarts.

And what the hell.. 7 quarts to show HALFWAY? That is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy off brother.

I found a difference in length between the LSJ and European Z22SE (=L61) dipstick, so check this! (forgot to note my measurements...)
