LSJ Turbo guys....where do you run your MAF?

Well, going turbo here in a couple weeks. I see most people have the MAF sensor close to the stock position, and after the turbo. Just curious is that actually maxes out the MAF quickly, or is it tuneable that way?? I was thinking about running the MAF to an intake pipe pre-turbo. Anyone here done that?? I would assume it would be a bit easier to tune for that way. Anyways, just looking for some ideas.

Keep it close to stock position. No worries with the tune. Works awesome!!

run it in a 3" pipe AFTER the turbo AFTER the BOV and AFTER the intercooler. No other way to do it....

so if I were to run piping like this...you can see where the MAF is located in that straight section, wouldn't work out so well?? Had to pretty much do a MAP based tune on this one.

Yes, that map would be in the correct position.

I ran my maf pre turbo @ first. I changed it expecting it was a problem but it ended up actually being fine.

The only issue I see with it being there is the heat from the turbo maybe cooking it but IDK.
