m-90 and m-112 eaton
ok so i tried to do a searchbut nothin came up. me and my friend have a m-90 and an m-112 eaton superchager layin around the house i dont know much about the ecotecs, because i just bought one but can you put those chargers on my car, i know it might have to be custom but is there a kit out there or what? and has anybody heard somebody doin the swap. but thanks for the advice in advance.
there wouldnt be on a stock car maybe, but if you had one of those lovely ported heads, wilder cams, full bolt ons, and probably a custom freer flowing manifold, then yea,, youd get some crazy power
Superchargers are mated based on engine size......the m112 is COMPLETELY out of the range of the little 2.0 on the SS/SC and the m90 you're basically using more power to spin it than you're getting out of it, so I really don't think it'd be worth it. As the post above said, you COULD boost the engine power a little bit but that's really the only way you'd see gains and even at that, I doubt they'd be worth it. Better off to mod the m62 or swap it for a turbo.
