M62 Glossary

I'm doing the M62 swap on my 2.4 and I can't figure out what a single-pass is. Call me a noob, but I never paid attention to the 2.0s/c threads until now. And then some people have a dual-pass upgrade (whatever that is) so can someone give me ahand and explain this to me? I have nearly everything ready to go and before I start working on it I want to make sure I get all the kinks worked out down to the last hose, nut and bolt.

A dual pass gives you cooler air into the intake ports.
With stock single pass, coolant goes in, snakes through all 4 tubes then back to intercooler. Dual pass changes coolant route so it only goes through 2 tubes, hence stays cooler.
You can modify endplate yourself (if you've some experience with drilling and tapping), buy a modified enplate or buy a new endplate from Rebel or some of the other vendors here.

Do a search, I know there are threads here that will explain it better than I have.
