m62 pulley removal

Im having some trouble removing the pulley from the blower on my 06 ss/sc. The car has 88,xxx kms on it. i have the blower removed from the engine and an impact gun on shop air wont pull it off with a 3finger gear puller. Ive tryed repeted soakings with penatrating oil and lightly heating the pulley before/during using the impact and puller. any info will be appriciated.

Do you have a press? Idk if I would use a puller like you're using. Try this. http://www.zzperformance.com/cobalt_...=199&catid=142

mine didnt budge the first time either... while you have pressure on it. take a torch and SLIGHTLY heat the pulley. it will pop almost immediatly then finish pullling it off

tryed it, no go. and im scared to try it too many times because the repetitive expanding and contracting of pulley may cause the pulley to shrink even more making it that much more difficult to remove... ever here of anybody having to cut a grove near the taper on the pulley and split it with a coal chissel? thats the only other way i can think of...

3 way puller is the wrong tool to use, and it will take some force put break it loose by hand

press is only other option

Hydraulic press + heat. Sometimes the stock pulley is retarded hard to get off.
