MAF Translater

I am going to be buying the intense-stage 5 soon but i do not have the money/knowledge for HP tuners. I am going to be runing a few other parts with my stage 5 as well, one of those parts being a CAI. I was wondering if anyone knows if the MAF translater would be a good idea, or if it would work for that matter, to go with that. I know a lot of people have problems with running 60# fuel injectors and a CAI. If anyone knows about the Maf translater and its history with 60# injectors, could you please help me out.

If you are spending all that money on stage 5 , and you dont have the money for proper tuning. In the end it will cost you a **** ton more of money to fix everything that you break. To me this is completely ignorant and silly. When you buy upgrades such as the intense stg 5 you cannot half ass it. Keep the money you already have and save a little more. Drive to Indiana and get your stuff done their so they can tune it for you. Also I just remembered something, don't they do the tuning for you if you mail them your black box ?

If you buy Intense Stage 5 you will get a new pcm and you won't need HP tuners. You will need some cooperation from your stealership to do a case relearn but that's it. I recommend some traction mods before you up the HP. I regret not getting the suspension package every day. But if you're determined to go Intense Stage 5 you won't need a Maf T and they will send you a tune with the package.

I understand the PCM issue that intense does with the stage 5. My main concern is that the tuning does not have the cold air intake invloved. it is set up to run on the stock air box, which unfortunatly is not an option to me. Now with PCM that intense sends you, people have been getting really bad knock due to the messed up air/fuel ratio and that is what my question is, Can a MAF translater solve that problem? The stage 5 isnt the only mod i am doing btw. I am doing the suspention package, a full exhaust, Water/meth injection, intercooler and guages. I am not half assing anything. But anyway, having all of this in mind, would the Maf translater help fix my air/fuel ratio.

you can get it tuned for an air intake... you just have to tell them.. maf-t is not worth anything above a 3.0 pulley and 42 lb injectors.. trust me on that.
so in short.. no it won;t do anything for ya....
