magnaflow exhaust

hey guys just need your input...i've had my magnaflow for like 7 month now. it started making a rattling noise...i lifted the car and nothing was out of place, i even removed the heat shield from the manifold and it still does it. the noise seems to be comming from the resinator right where it bolts up to the downpipe. what should i do...i mean i bought the exhaust from turbo tech. Has anyone had this problem before?
any info would help

thanks

Seems like you blew out the resonator gasket. Easy fix, are pushing stock boost or do have a pulley?

hit your resonater with a rubber mallet. if it sounds like thumbtacks are rattling in there, ure gonna need a new one

yeah i hit it and it sounded like something loose, but the funny thing is that it makes the only onle where the resonator bolts up to the downpipe, the rest of the resonator doesnt make a noise.

remove it and check the gasket then go buy high heat silicon and use that works better then a gasket

i used that stuff on my header and had no leaks whats so ever

Well I know my problem is with the resonator itself and not the gaskets.

Mine did the same thing, All resonators make that noise, it just depends on the application to determine how loud the noise will be
