Major Problem!!!

ok i just removed the stock shifter out of my 07 cobalt. i ordered the B&M and i'm looking at the directions, and i dont think that the shifter for the 06 and the 07 are the same. the shaft on the 07 is a solid shaft, and the b&M instructions say to reuse some of the parts and they done seem like they are coming off.... HELP! any 07's have this installed or 06's i reallly need help here. i basicly hacked the other one apart, and i dont think its going back together.

then it's gonna be trial and error. When I did my cavy way back when I didn't mark them, and I got it where I wanted it to be in neutral, and then adjusted the cables. Then try all the gears, and adjust as needed.

I really dout it. the installation is pretty much the same other then the solid bushings for the base of the shifter. Overall the installation took about an hour and a half. Just make sure you have the blue ball on the right way... i didnt know it was upside down till i hade it in the car and was lookin at it. personaly i love the B&M, i've seen the Hurst and dont really like it.

B&M all the way
