dont waste $200+ on an intake.



i just bought a pep boys air filter and hacked away at the stock air box.


noticed a big increase in power and loud sound.


i hate ricers who waste $$$$ on intakes because they think it will actually do anything other than an airbox mod..

waste of money.

Hey Guys The Question How To Make Supercharger Louder Not The Muffler Or Exhaust Or Cai The Only Way To Make Suupeeerrr Chhaaarrggeeerr Laouder Is With Small Pulley!!!!!

 

Actually, an intake/airbox mod will make it louder than a pulley would, A pulley will add to it and make it scream too but a intake is the main thing making it louder. Plus at less than $50, it is almost a free mod. depending on the size of pulley, you would need injectors, tuning, etc.... You can get more power with a pulley but a Airbox mod is a must for the first mod....
Also, where did anyone say anything about an exhaust/muffler making it louder???

 

Its not a waste of money. The air Box Mod uses the restrictive stock plastic/rigid pipe. Manderal bent pipe is way better flowing for the mass quantities of air trying to get through the intake. Why not pay a little more and do it right so your car can breath to its full potential?
My vote CAI to make the supercharger loud as hell, and hey pick up more HP than the Air Box Mod.

Ok this answer was wrong. Yes a smaller pulley will make it sound louder, but if you have the Stock Intake that sound will be muffled alot. You need to get rid of the restriction, the intake has a "muffler" on it (in a sense), all the restrictive turns and how the stock air box gets its air. (Its a small opening) So again, like I said before, get some type of intake to unrestrict air flow to the engine, that will make the Super Charger Louder.
