Makin' power!

After running consistent 12.3s at the track on the 14th, we decided it was time to bolt on the new ZZP twincharge setup. The new setup includes a Bullseye Super 362 extended tip turbo and ZZP race intercooler. We had the car running Friday morning, but rain ruined our plans to hit the track. We did a little tuning on the dyno on Friday, running just under 400whp at 22psi with a conservative tune. We then got a little bit more aggressive with the tune and made 425whp at 23psi. On Saturday, we decided to start turning it up and got more aggressive. The final result was 489whp and 486whp at 30 psi with plenty left in the car. I am going to race the car about 425whp for the first few shake down passes and turn it up from there!

Mods include:

ZZP twincharge kit
Bullseye Super 362
ZZP race intercooler (with v-band connections)
Tial 44mm waste gate
Tial Q bov
ZZP turbo exhaust manifold
External waste gate dump
ZZP 650HP fuel pump upgrade
80lbs injectors
ZZP fuel pump rewire
ZZP boost reference

Cylinder Head:
Stock cylinder head
Stock cams
80lbs valve springs

Short block:
Stock pistons, rods, crank.
Balance delete

Cooling Mods:
ZZP electric water pump kit
ZZP oil cooler delete
ZZP single pass intake manifold
ZZP 15 row single pass heat exchanger

Suspension:
SSC lowering springs
ZZP spring blockers
ZZP tubular control arms

I will update my post after we race on Wednesday. I hope we get the chance to go to the track, the forecast is calling for rain Wednesday and Friday, but sunshine the days in between, but that's always how it seems to work. I will also try to get some pictures of the kit on the car for you this week.

Damn guys that's really impressive. I really want to see some 1/4 times on this setup. Like Eric said (red05sssc) if I ever get a ton of spending money, I'm coming to you guys to twincharge this beast.

It's the complete comtrol arm. They are made out of chromoly and the spring blocker limits the rear suspension. They are only used when we are at the track, not something I would want to drive around on.

No release date yet, but I would think you would want to use are bushings. They will be completely assm. and ready to install. I don't what kind of options we are going to offer yet.
