I have alot of trouble keeping my wheels clean...like haveing to clean them everyday. Are the rotors screwed. Is there a recall or something wrong with em and is anyone else having this problem. Also, is it under warranty?

Try new pads .... Ceramic doesnt make such a big mess.. other than that, carbon metallic pads are going to make a mess all the time.

It's The Pads Man! Nothing Wrong With The Rotors. if you're throwing off that much brake dust you're cleaning your wheels every day you must be riding your brakes like a grandmother

i hardly even use my brakes, but the dust does accumulate, and usually i have to clean my wheels like every 2-3 days....the pads are messy

has anybody put those plate things that go between your wheel face and the brakes (that makes it so u dont get dust on the outside of your wheel)

i always thought that they would look like crap, just wondering

no you don't need special rotors for ceramic pads. Wagner is the best IMO. but, you also may want to get cross drilled or slotted rotors which help keep heat down. if you decided to go this way here's an option that not only look awesome but i hear they work great!!!

Are you really getting that much brake dust? I don't seem to get much at all. I only clean the wheels about once every two or three weeks. The dust I have typically comes off with the weekly washing of the car. Have you tried putting a wheel wax or polish on your wheels? It may make them much easier to clean.

I use LUCAS luquid polish that is safe for clear coats on my wheels.... I can pressure wash most of the brake dust off the inside of the rim and then wipe the remainer off as I dry.

yeppers they get dirty... gotta love them BIG easy to clean spokes

I think our wheels are ugly, but compared to every other car I've owned, these are by far the easiest to clean.

Try the dupont Teflon wheel cleaner and use a pressure washer, it takes care of most of it, the rest you get off with easy drying afterward.

The DuPont Teflon Wheel Cleaner works great. They also make a teflon tire shine that also works great and doesn't "sling" up and leave black spots on the doors after you drive.
