Megen Stainless Steel 4in muffler...good, bad?

 

the whole ehaust or muffler? cuz i hav the megan exhaust and love it!!!!! pretty loud but over all i love it

 

just the muffler for now. using money on more important things haha. but my gf bought me the muffler, figured i'd have SMG weld it on in a day. from what i hear it makes it sound pretty damn good. but idk

 

were did you get the muffler?

 

I've got the catback, so I imagine the muffler will sound very similar. Love mine!

 

i got mine off ebay just the can i like it so much but if u dont like loud!!!!!!! than u will not like this exhaust can its so loud i love it

 

haha yea she got mine off ebay too. from what i hear from my friends it's going to be really loud....but sound really good. because i love the stock exhaust tone, i jsut don't want my car to sound like a riced out piece of **** ya know?

from what i am hearing from people, some are saying it will sound fine just welded to stock exhaust piping, but others are saying should get an axelback for better sound etc. any thoughts?

there is an area on the stock cat-back that tapers down to 2.25 inches. it will flow better if that small piece of pipe is replaced by some 2.5 inch piping. SMG can hook you up with that. and other than that it shouldnt sound much different than a megan cat-back

 

yea i know fred from SMG. once it comes in i was going to take it down to him and see what he can do with it. 60 bucks to bend and weld an axelback to it. figure that might be a better investment.

 

man the megan sounds like sex not rice at all i dont think
