guys, i keep burning up the little green activation lights that come with the AIS stage one meth kit. iv went through 4 of them, the last one lasted me a month or so, the longest of the them all. im tired of switching these out lol. i got a green light, prolly 3.8" from napa and one fro madvance, their a little differant, im looking for a good spot to mount these lights, they are a little bigger so i dont really want to just drill holes in my dash or anything lol. any ideas?

You would regret drilling into your tri pod? Assuming you have one. Come time to sell put the stocker back in and it's new again haha. I like it because it's always in the corner of my eye.

Meth without wideband is rather scary..

 

Meth without an interceptor to monitor knock is very scary also haha. IMO I would upgrade your pod with some new gauges and a tri pod then put the light in there.

 

right now im on a zzp canned tune, for meth and all my mods. i know their tunes arnt really that aggressive, as said before i am planning on getting one in the near future. im just trying to figure out where to put these lights lol its killing me!

Something must be shorting somewhere if your going through those. ive had a little green led that comes on when its spraying and ive had mine 2.5 years

 

Do you have a good ground for the LED?

 

Yup the ground is right up on the metal housing that has the holes in it where the clips go that hold the plastic trim on by the compartment that opens the trunk the light always worked and never flickered or anything.

 

i did mine close to the shifter, the trim is easy enough to replace if u ever wanna take them out, but as for ur lights, make sure u got good ground, and make sure the light is a 12v light.

 

Yea I put mine down beside the cig lighter below the ac controls
