Hi, I have been doing some research on this.

However I have not found out time frame on how long a 50/50 water/meth concetration of say 1L will last... Does anyone know?

it depends on your right foot

 

Does it run all the time? I have seen a kit that only fires when full throttle or are they all the same?

 

they generally have a vacuum line attached to a sensor that turns the meth on so it depends on how much you go into boost so i.e. your right foot.

 

Like he said, it taps into your vacuum line and turns on at whatever the pump is set at, usually a turn of an Allen key will turn the boost up or down. If you get the progressive meth kit, it comes with a controller that you can set yourself from the inside of the car

 

Most people Ive had come with the 1Gal Tank seems to last about a month with normal driving. That first month will prolly be twice in the month since it's new and well...you want to have fun with it

 

like everyone says...depends on that right foot. If you mash the **** outa the pedal, you'll use meth. If you cruise you should be good. Mine kicks on at 8psi and is at full blast at 15psi

 

What's a good kit that you lot use

I will have a custom tank made, probably around a gallon

 

There are a bunch out there...I use AEM's. There is also Devil's Own

 

Why would you make a custom tank that is the size of the standard tank?

 

i wish I had a bigger tank that a 1 galllon...oh well

 

I will be using a custom tank, as I don't have much room in my engine bay, also don't want the tank goin in the boot I don't own a cobalt just run the lsj engine

 

You can always put it in the trunk...

 

I just tapped into my windshield washer tank. Holds lots

 

It's fine I can sort a custom tank out

Is there a place where i can buy a kit which includes all the parts apart from a tank?

Just have. Dworf underneath the hood while ure driving so when u give it throttle u can tell him to start pissing inside the intake ... ha ha ha ha ha.... but get the aem kit most coMplete I think.

What happens if you need you're spare tire?

 

my tank is in the back sittin up next to the corner out of the way and my pump is in my engine bay...then again i have a differnt kit than you guys i run the lebante stage 4 water/meth

 

I use my washer fluid tank for meth , i dont like anything in my trunk " thats what she said lol ", i installed the pump right underneath my option b tank and it looks so clean over there, everything is hidden !

 

i cant add the supercharger to intake spacer plate to add meth in there due to the supercharger will then hit my bulkhead in my car

i will probably use the TB spacer to run the meth injection there

all i would need is my custom tank, pipe, connectors for the tb spacer plate and a pump

you still can pull up the carpet the way i have it set.... but i dont have a spare only a tire inflator kit and aaa.

 

If you decide to tap into the intake tube i have the devils own meth tap that goes in there that i have no use for anymore
