I got methanol from a local race shop for 3.95/gal. Distilled is 1-2 bucks/gal. Get 2 of each, mix to your liking (I did 50/50), it will last you a year.

3 gph at 100 psi, pump is 150 so 3.9 gph'ish

Apparently you beat the **** out of the car. My car might see boost once or twice a week, and it sprays full bore at 5 psi. You do the math, it will last me a year.

x2

The washer fluid tank holds 1.5 gal'ish. At 3 gph you can go 30 minutes wide open (or above 5 psi in my case). That is a long ass time.

i have a 2.8 and cant stay out of boost if i wanted to(well i could but its rough). Its wayyyy too easy to hit 5 psi.

Only way i could stay out of boost is to limit my tps to 25%

Hmmm... so an 80% meth washer fluid concentrate WOULD be an ideal source, contrary to what I thought when I got the idea in my head. I also didn't want to smurf the engine!

Didn't think about clogged injectors tho!

what size nozzle would be ideal for a setup like mine? *see sig* should 3gph be enough? or would 5gph be beneficial?

if that is 100% denatured alcohol with no additives, then that is what people are using.
personally, i will never put windshield washer fluid in my engine. i've seen how chalky it gets on the outside of the wiper fluid resivoir when i spill some and dont wipe it up. no way do i want that in my engine.

going there now...

denatured alcohol does it too

btw heet is 10% methanol, 90% ethanol....

basicly denatured alcohol.

If you go to home depot you can get either

Methanol (shellac thinner)
Ethanol (Denatured Alcohol)

calculator says i need a 3.9 gph nozzle. Do they even make 4 gph nozzles? all i see is 3 and 5.

i thought the yellow bottles were 100% methanol and the red bottles were like 30%...

ethanol, alcohol, methanol

all the same stuff practically. Its like arguing which is better, pepsi or coke.

Just dont confuse ethanol with e85 mix of gasoline, which is what we do NOT use.
