I'm looking at ordering a meth injection kit. I was going to get the Devils Own Progresive boost based kit since they have no Maf freq based kit for GMs. I also found the Coolingmist trunk mount kit on ebay for 300 bucks! A great deal but I don't think it's progresive. The Snow Performance kit is a lot more money than both of these other kit and I don't have the money for that kit, which is maf based. So my question is, how much difference will progresive boost based, regular boost and maf freq kits do?

Yes I believe you can spry both at the same time

Ya it's 205 for the base kit or look under universal kits and there's a progresive kit for 305.

It basically cools your intake air and raises your octane rating.

I prefer crack, boost or MAF regulated
but if meth is you thing,,,,,

 

so is the progressive kit better than the base kit? why? what is the difference?

 

I believe the progressive kit is set to increase spray variably with the level of boost it sees.

Whereas the base kit is either 100% spraying or not at all.

so with the base kit i would be constantly running meth then right? thats a waste of good meth! lol i will get the progressive kit then! can't i just buy the base kit and a progressive controller and it would be cheaper?

 

im on 50 50 meth water right now, running 25.5 degrees of knock with an AFR of 11.5 to 6k then 6k to 7k 10.9 and BAM a fire shoots everytime I shift.

 

I imagine the progressive kit would be easier to tune for as well, since it would come on gradually and build with boost.

Instead of just spiking the system with full spray for that whole range.

I believe you still have control to turn the meth on a certain point (certain boost level) but with the base kit it will just come on, whereas the progressive kit will adjust the amount of spray according to boost level.

Am I explaining/understanding this correctly anyone?

so the base kit i can set to kick in at like 12 psi but it will just be full sprayed instead of progressively spraying as i increase boost? i think i got it right?

Unfortunately the question at hand is about MAF vs Boost controlled (both progressively)

And 2 pages later we haven't even touched on that, lol. So I will shut up now and hopefully the meth guys will come in here and lay down some good info

Ya, I'm basically wondering if the MAF based kit is the best way to go becasue it seams Snow's kit is the only one that offers it. Devil's Own and Coolingmist are both boost based.
