Do you guys ever have trouble with the meth siphoning itself into the engine when it's not running or anything?

Nope, that's what the check valve in the system is for. I beleive it is rated at 22lbs of vacuum so unless you're making more than that it's impossible for it to let alky into the engine when not activated.

Check vavle or solenoid will keep it all in place.

My personal recomendation is stay away from the selonoids... I've personally had 2 of those fail on my Cavalier At like 30-40 bucks a pop it gets pricey. Just my experience though...

Actually I prefer the check valve over a solenoid anyway, I was just throwing that out there for whoever. I never had one fail but since it's electronic they have a limited lifespan and I would rather have a trusty old cv on there.

Just a thought, do you guys think the meth injection will work in combination with the GM stage 3? (instead of the Nitrous?)

yeah, you can probably use the 100octane tune that gm brings with the stg 3 with the meth, However youll be missing on some since I assume that it doesnt come with as much timing as you can run with an actual HPtune. (GM probably like 20degrees max, HPtune like 25 on 50 50 solution).

OK cool, Thats what I was planning on doing. I was going to go with HPtuners and 60lbs+2.8, but I changed my mind for the stage 3 instead.

Alcohol isn't a power adder of any kind so "replacing" nitrous with it isn't going to help ya go faster. Now if you mean that you want to run the timing of the 100 octane tune with pump gas and methanol you can probably tune with the injection kit to get you close to that.

So you can use a simple check valve in stead of a solenoid?

A check vavle is best because it has no electronic parts to fail. HOWEVER you need one with a pretty high cracking pressure as most have like 1psi. I've seen my car pull 20" vacuum while cruising so it would have to be higher then that. coolingmist.com sells one that has a 22psi cracking pressure that will work.

I'm not familiar with their complete kits, but if it comes with a check valve then you will be ok.

would there be any benefit to running this with the GM stage 2 tune? I already have the GMPP Dual Pass Option B and a CA Heat exchanger? I would look at the devils own progressive kit?

You won't gain any powere from it without upping the timing. You will reduce heat soak though. But all in all...... Don't bother unless you are going to tune.

We can only get 91 Octane here in NB, I usually run Lucus Octane boost to bump the Octane to 93-94, it costs alot to always run that, i figured that the meth kit would help keep the timing up, plus prevent heat soak and give me a little power?

Thoughts?

Can I run the GM Stage 3 ECU on high octane with the meth kit for better results? has anyone used the meth kit with the gm stage 3 ecu?

I don't know about Stage 3 PCM and meth but, when I lived in NB I have to back the timing off a couple degrees from the GM Stage tune when I ran the 2.8" pulley.

SO ya, meth would help that if you don't have HP Tuners.

Ya I am initally just going to run the meth kit with my other cooling mods to help bump the octane up a bit, and to keep the IAT2 nice and cold. but after warranty is up i will have 60's and a tune to make the most of the meth kit.

I got the devils own kit for the cobalt ss with the progressive controller, how was the install? what would you recommend for jetting on this kit with a GM stage 2 tune and a 2.9 pulley, with all the other mods in my sig?

Anything you would recommend?
