well ive done some searching and reviewing and i cant really find the answers...

im getting the devils own meth kit 2.5 bar...and its come with a 5 and 7 nozzle...

which nozzle would be best for my mods??
how should i mix the meth?? is there a type of fluid that works better then others??

i just wanna get stuff straight before i get everything put on and tuned for it

my mods are 2.8 60's OTTP H/E zzp shorty header with catted downpipe and 2.5 exhaust GMPP clutch upgrade and fujita CAI

 

You should be running the 5 gph nozzle. There is a nozzle calculator on the devils own site but we have just about the same exact mods and it told me run a 3 gph nozzle but the 5 will be more than fine.

I just got tuned for a 51/49 mix and it feels strong. Plus I don't want to over do it by running something too aggressive at the moment.

in the case of the stuff you mail order it's 51% water / 49% methanol.. because you can't ship flammable liquids.. and the mix becomes flammable at 50/50 ;-)

 

Well don't use windshield fluid gains are minimal. be better off making your own mixture

 

i buy pure meth and mix it with distilled water 75% meth 25% water

and the kit you are looking at comes with a 3gph and a 7gph not a 5gph

 

If you can't find 100% meth to mix just go to walmart and buy how ever many yellow bottles of heet you want to mix. I'm going 100% meth this spring to get full benefits from it

A lot of people like running the 5 gph nozzle and honestly I would be if I had it but my kit came with the 3 and the 7.

 

yeah it is safe to run and i buy it from a shop down the street from me

and i run a 7gph nozzle and i did when i was supercharged also

NAPA sometimes carries Methanol... check your local one.. any speed shop should have it for the local racers as well

 

Yeah check speed shops. But make sure they have pure methanol, it should be ~116 octane. I bought some once and couldnt get **** for timing out of it and went back and asked what the octane rating was and they said it wasnt pure and it was 99 octane...I was like WTF!

And for your mods I would run the 5gph nozzle on 75/25 mix

 

yea everyone is saying the 5gph nozzle is best right now... is there a sweet spot to drill the intake at?? and what WHP do you guys think ill be at??

 

The 3 gph on a 50/50 mix is more than adequate to allow you bump spark to 26*.
