how much is required in the way of custom tuning for meth injection. (hours on a dyno?)

as im sure you can advance timing quite nicely with the octane increase.

hey just had another thought.

does your spacer have room to tap in a nitrous line?

bet nitrous and meth would work together pretty nicely.

haven't run it at the track yet. I mainly did it because i can only run 91 octane pump gas around here. this allows me to be quite a bit more aggressive with my timing on my street tune. at the track I will probably run the same washer fluid as now or water. I use race gas so the higher octane won't be as necessary as the cooling effects of water will.

And I think Jim mentioned earlier you could run nitrous in addition to W/I.
Edit: I think he mentioned it in a different thread.

Though it may seem obvious to most, make sure your using distilled water not tap water which has alot of chemicals and minerals in it

I think he meant 80% water and 20% methanol, because most -20 F winshield washer fluid has about 20% meth in it.. I'm going to get some bottles of boost juice from Snow Perfromance. They have almost and even mix of water and meth... 51% water 49% meth... right now i use winshield washer fluid and i add a little bit of HEET to it, to bump up the methanol.

as for the questions a couple earlier posts... there is a unit that hooks up to the MAF that has 4 switches on it.. each switch has it's own map for how much it sprays based off of your MAF readings... u can have 5 settings.... switch 1 is the least aggressive (which will last u a long time and spray the least) switch 2 is a little more aggressive than sw 1 (lasts a while and sprays a little more).. sw 3, which Snow Performance recommends keeping it on for close to stock apps, is a little more aggressive than sw 2 and uses more fluid.. sw 4 is agressive and will last about 1 day of hard driving and having all the sw off is the most aggressive setting and it sprays a lot.. this is something u would have on at the track.. i use sw 4 for daily driving in the summer because i was running the 2.5" pulley i had ZERO KR and the TB was cold and the SC housing was luke warm to the touch... they give u a somewhat decent size bottle but i'm going with the larger one and mounting it in the trunk... i basically checked the fluid level about every other day and topped it off
