1 Stage Colder Plugs

Ok guys I have searched but I noticed alot of the arguement is about gap size.

You can see my mods below: Basically a stage 2 and filter.

Do I need to go with the 1 stage colder plugs or not? Anyone with knowledge or running them please. Also, I live in wisconsin so it is VERY cold out right now..usually about 30 degrees.

Thanks!

Usually you go with one stage colder plugs when you throw on a 2.8 pulley. You should be fine right now.

i had the dealer put on the 1 step colder ngk plugs when i go my stage 2. and they were gapped at 40. it ran great then. i then put on a 2.8 pully and it ran fine till it got cold out then it started to get spark blow out. then i regaped them to .35. now it runs good again.

Even the stage 3 kit with a smaller pulley doesnt come with colder plugs. Gm tunes them to have stock plugs.

If gm says to run your stock plugs then run your stock plugs. Its not that hard to figure out. If you had a smaller pulley or alot of other mods then you should try out a colder plug. But for now just stay with the stock plugs.
