Just curious how much methanol you guys are consuming per TANK of gas.

I didnt want to use timeframe since we all travel different distances in a week. I just want to see the median of meth-heads.

not really worth it.... 15.00 gallon for the stuff is fail compared to 2-3 for methanol.

 

I use less than a gallon for sure, I use just straight winshield washer mix, like a 45-55mix on 89 octane fuel. I think my total octane might be like 93 or something.

97 is closer. I know with pure methanol with 87 = 104.

Yes i burn 1-2 gallons per tank... 1/2 gallon if im easy on it. I use a MAF activation controller that is set from 6900-9000 full blown with a 3gph nozzle. I drive pretty hard usually.

It takes me about 5/6 weeks if not longer to run through a 1.5 gallon take of meth. Right now my mixture ratio is 70/30.

I use just windshield wiper fluid and depending on how often my foot is in it, I generally use between 1/4th of a gallon to a 1/2 gallon at the most. I have a 1 gallon trunk mounted devils own kit progressive kit, and I enjoy it quite a bit.

 

i barely use any per tank.. but hten again it doesnt get used unless im racing or want to be a jackass... im usually in cruise control cuz i drive 4hrs home and back when i go so...

 

i go through about a quart in 2 tanks. most of what i do is freeway driving, i just have my fun moments on the on ramps. i am however experimenting with dropping fuel grades so ill probly turn the meth activation point down a bit so its on sooner.

 

What kinda windshield washer fluid do you use (ex: Walmart??) And what temp of washer fluid do you use (ex: -45)?? What kinda mix is -45???? 50/50?

 

I had a 2.5 gallon tank and i filled it twice from march to july

 

Use the cheap blue stuff and i think its -20 deg.

 

i use a 50/50 mix of methalhydrate (its just another name for methanol) and distilled water. im able to buy a gallon of pure methal hydrate for about $6, so it doesnt really cost me any more than a just of -45 washer fluid.

So whats the best washer fluid too use??? -20,-35,-45??? What gives you the best mix of meth/distilled water??
